Substratum Group provides products and services that help our customers step with confidence. We provide lab and onsite walkway safety services including walkway safety audits, testing and verification of flooring and coatings, Expert Witness services, and equipment rental and sales (slip meters like the ASM 925, BOT 3000E, GS-1). We do onsite and lab testing using dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) using the B101.3 and A326.3 standards and pendulum threshold values (PTV) using the Pendulum test standards E303 and BS 161615. We also measure surface roughness and gloss for materials in the lab and onsite. Our courses include the Walkway Safety Professional certification and the IDCEC approved course "Flooring: Design Considerations and Material Selection for Health, Safety, and Welfare". We also have training courses for the ASM 925, BOT 3000E, and the GS-1. We teach and provide consulting services on how to assess and remediate walkway safety issues in residential, and commercial facilities.
