Suiting Warriors (SW) provides transitioning assistance to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, Veterans, their spouses, Guard and Reserve by providing them with wardrobe consulting and upscale professional attire needed to compete in the civilian workforce. SW is a boutique, pop-up, and community-based service providing upscale professional attire, wardrobe consulting, and education to transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses on the path to a new career. Our SuitUP^ Program reaches those who are preparing for job fairs, interviews, networking events, daily career wear and formal attire. During SuitUP^ Days a SW Volunteer Stylists provide professional attire and assistance for individual fit and style. SW also provides wardrobe consulting presentations for veteran career and/or educational events and classes. By guiding veterans career wear choices and establishing a professional appearance, we are fulfilling the SW vision to enhance the quality of life of Veterans, by helping to create a seamless transition from the military into gainful employment in the civilian workforce. The SW service and guidance, fuels Veterans confidence and decision making process for career advancement and education. SW is growing and opportunities are available to be on the board, a committee or volunteer. The funds we raise are invested in our mission expanding our reach to transitioning veterans between NYC to NC. The best time to suit a veteran is 3 months to a 1 year after separation. SuitUP^ Days (Pop-up events) are available between NYC to NC by sponsorship. Past events have been held in DE, PA, NJ, NYC, MD, DC, VA, OH, and TX.
