THE TOTAL PRE-COLLEGIATE EXPERIENCE ® Since our founding in 1991, Summer Study Programs has been the leader in Pre-College Programs for high school students, ages 14-18 years old. Our programs provide the perfect balance of academics, fun, and guidance, with a wonderful backdrop for creativity and independence. Our students participate in classes, workshops, and internships taught by our qualified instructors. Typical academic offerings include classes in the arts, humanities, sciences, engineering, architecture, computer science, mathematics, and ESL. College Credit French language classes are also offered through the Sorbonne in Paris. Apart from the academic portion of our program, planned, staff supported activities are available for students during the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. At the end of the summer students leave our programs with an enhanced sense of self, an enlarged network of social support, and a firm hold on the academic gains they made. With 6 locations, our focus is on providing the total pre-college experience for each and every one of our students. Summer Study Programs offers pre-college and study abroad programs for high school students at: Penn State University (University Park) Colorado State University (Fort Collins) Fordham University (NYC) American University (Washington, DC) Paris, France (The Sorbonne) Mallorca, Spain (Taplingo - Spanish Language Institute) Students choose from a variety of classes to take over the summer, including STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Writing, Architecture, Sports Marketing & Management, Digital Photography, Global Awareness and Social Action, Language Immersion and much more!
