Sunbelt Merchant Group "SMG" is a Trade Association for independent Convenience Stores.  On behalf of it's member base, SMG negotiates marketing and promotional platforms with premier business partners such as Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, Dr Pepper, Frito Lay, Monster Energy, Red Bull and many other major suppliers to provide it's member base with a coordinated approach to their go to market business.  Space management, marketing platforms and promotional activity are assigned based on analytical data and market trends designed to drive increased store traffic and deliver the greatest return to the member.    
Sunbelt Merchant Group was founded in Houston Texas in 2006 with a member base of 40.  The SMG member base is currently approaching 800 outlets across Texas with eminent plans to expand into multiple states based on member demand.
