The Suncoast Hospice Institute, an affiliate of the Suncoast Hospice (formerly The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast), was officially founded in 1994 as an international resource center which offers education and training sessions, conducts research and provides consultation services related to hospice and palliative care. The mission of the practice-based resource center remains firmly focused on making a difference in the lives of Hospice staff and volunteers which positively impact patients and families facing an end-of-life experience.
