Sundance Mountain Resort is a year-round mountain destination located in Sundance, Utah, set on about 6,000 acres. It delivers lodging, dining, and extensive recreation through 95 cottages, substantial meeting space, two national restaurants plus a bar and deli, a spa, an art studio, and a general store. Founded by Robert Redford in 1969 to pair artistic expression with outdoor recreation while preserving the land, the property aligns its programming with independent voices in music, film, literature, and fine arts. In the hospitality landscape, it positions itself as a distinctive arts-driven destination that serves guests looking for lodging, outdoor recreation, and access to cultural programming. A notable recent development is the Spring 2026 launch of the Mountain Veteran Program, a free, multi-day retreat designed by veterans for veterans that combines outdoor adventure with community healing.
