Welcome to Sunflower Soccer. Sunflower Soccer (SSA) is one of the largest youth soccer organizations in the area with nearly 1,800 registered players, ranging in age from 3 to 18 in both recreational and competitive levels of play. SSA strives to promote and teach the game of soccer, develop players at all levels, create an environment where area youth can learn good sportsmanship and fair play and encourage all players, officials, coaches and spectators to enjoy the game. Our goal is to provide a fun experience in a no-pressure environment for kids so they can learn the beautiful game and develop a passion for soccer for many years to come. We believe that youth sports play an important role in a child’s life. Children who participate in youth sports develop both physical, social, and life skills, including self-confidence, discipline, focus, friendship, and motivation. Physical activity also provides a benefit to the health of the participants in our program. Our recreational soccer program provides boys and girls teams for ages U3 up through high school. We compete in both spring and fall in house leagues and offer optional summer camps and training opportunities. The coaches for these teams are volunteer parents.
