The purpose of Sunny Crest Youth Ranch is to provide a safe, loving environment that positively influences the social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of young men and their communities. The Vision of Sunny Crest Youth Ranch is to build and maintain safe housing for boys and provide them with life skills to give them a second chance for a brighter future. Sunny Crest is a working ranch and each boy will be assigned responsibilities which could involve care and feeding of animals, gardening, recycling, or other day-to-day duties of maintaining the grounds and outside environment on the ranch. An important goal is for each boy to develop a sense of personal responsibility and pride within the well ordered environment of a safe family setting. Experiencing this kind of stable family life creates a strong platform for our program as a whole and helps equip the rancher to become a healthy and productive member of society.
