Founded in 2012, SunRay Scientific develops and manufactures innovative electronic conductive and non-conductive materials.  SunRay has developed a family of offerings to include novel conductive adhesives, printable conductive inks, and insulating encapsulant solutions for advanced electronic packaging across Printed Electronics and Semiconductor Packaging. 

SunRay’s patented ZTACH® ACE electrical interconnect technology is designed to deliver cost effective miniaturization and enhanced performance while utilizing existing manufacturing infrastructure. The simplicity of SunRay’s technology lowers production costs while speeding up production time.  

ZTACH® ACE is a Z-axis Anisotropic Conductive Epoxy consisting of a polymer matrix solution incorporating randomly distributed ferromagnetic particles. Primary benefits of ZTACH® ACE include: superior adhesion, high density interconnects, low-temperature cure, fine pitch capability, and no pressure assembly. Compared to conventional electronic interconnects, ZTACH® ACE exhibits the ability to reduce total manufacturing costs based on the elimination of process steps, improved yield, enhanced reliability/performance, and lower setup costs.  This cost benefit combined with key technology differentiators has generated significant customer traction from numerous Fortune 500 companies. 

SunRay’s ZTACH® ACE Anisotropic Conductive Epoxy and ZMAG™ Magnetic Pallet system enable the future of printed electronics for use in emerging applications like: Flexible Wearables (smart labels, diagnostic patches, e-textiles); Electronic Micro-assembly (endoscopic diagnostic pill, toll tags, RFID tags);semiconductor packaging within Consumer Products (smart phone/computer OLED displays and LED lighting products); and X-Ray imaging (e.g., medical, scanners and airport security screening devices).  Our innovative conductive silver inks enable improved reliability through a proprietary technology that blocks silver migration.
