The Sunshine Coast Regional District is a regional government entity serving residents of the Sunshine Coast, based in Sechelt, British Columbia. Formed in 1967 as one of 27 regional districts to foster partnerships between municipalities and electoral areas within its boundaries. It comprises the District of Sechelt, Town of Gibsons, Sechelt Indian Government District, and electoral Areas A, B, D, E, and F; through a board of directors it provides governance, delivers essential services, and manages public assets to support the region's economic, social, and environmental well-being. 

It operates within the Government Relations Services sector and is governed by the Local Government Act and Community Charter, with board members also serving on the Regional Hospital District Board. In June 2026, SCRD launched a Property Viewer public web map, illustrating its efforts to improve public access to property information and related services.
