Sunshine Nut Co. cashews are grown, roasted and packaged at the source of freshness in Mozambique, Africa. We quickly capture the flavor of the cashew in our premium package so you can taste the goodness. Our cashews are roasted in sunflower oil and lightly seasoned with unique and natural flavoring for excellent taste. The company was founded in 2011, by Don Larson, a former Hershey’s executive who desired to use his food industry experience to make a difference. It is our objective to demonstrate a model that will successfully transform poor farming communities in a way that provides fairness, opportunity, and empowerment from within. We strive to bring people together around a vision that truly transforms communities. Our profits are reinvested in Mozambican communities with 90% of shareholder’s distributed profits going to transformative initiatives! Of our proceeds, 30% goes to supporting farming communities through ‘hand-up’ assistance, 30% to caring for orphans and vulnerable children, and 30% to creating new food companies!
