Surveyors On Site (SOS) is a Windsor, Ontario-based construction surveying firm established in 2011. The company focuses on delivering cost-effective, timely survey products for projects of varying size, leveraging field crews that operate efficiently by minimizing on-site staff through modern surveying methods. Serving clients across the southwestern Ontario region, SOS positions itself as a mid-sized practice within the land surveying industry, emphasizing technology-enabled workflows to reduce fixed costs for clients. The firm was founded by Michael Toupin, who partnered with Christopher Oyler in its early years to build a multifaceted surveying capability, and it now maintains an office in Windsor with plans for regional expansion. SOS highlights a scalable approach to field operations and has grown to support multiple field crews capable of handling both large and small projects.
