Susan Cohan Gardens is a full-service landscape design studio located in the New York/New Jersey metro area. For more than fifteen years, Susan Cohan and her team have created landscape designs for discerning regional and international clients. The finished results are frequently published and have won numerous awards.

From small courtyards to large country estates, Susan Cohan Gardens is dedicated to the creation of exceptional residential outdoor living spaces and gardens. Every project is highly individualized and integrates classic design principles with hand-crafted details and extensive horticultural knowledge. The results present clients with finished and furnished spaces that are responsive to their lifestyles, relevant to the sites, and environmentally responsible.

During the design process, every detail from plants to stone to furniture to appliances and accessories is thought through and specified from a wide variety of international sources. Travel to international design fairs, garden shows and garden visits allow the team to bring back firsthand knowledge of products as well as fresh inspiration to the drawing board.  Each project designed by the studio is constructed independently by of highly skilled independent landscape contractors and their collaborative trades. During construction, Susan and her studio designers oversee on site and act in the interest of their clients to insure that the outcome is of the highest level of quality and exceeds expectations.
