Sustainable Business Network is a not-for-profit, membership-based social enterprise based in Auckland, New Zealand. Founded in 2002, it describes itself as Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest sustainable business organization. The network collaborates with individuals and organisations across sizes and sectors to share knowledge, provide practical support, and advocate for sustainable business practices, including running the country’s only Sustainable Business Awards.

The organization concentrates on small and medium-sized enterprises, which comprise about 97% of New Zealand firms. It counts more than 400 organisations and individuals who regularly participate as Impact Investors, supporting its activities. Each year, thousands of New Zealand organisations and individuals partner with or learn from SBN. In May 2026, it announced that its 2024-25 annual report was recognized with a sustainability award at the New Zealand For Purpose Reporting Awards, a notable recent development.
