SustainCERT is an environmental services firm based in Luxembourg that functions as a climate impact verifier. It provides independent validation and verification of climate impact for carbon markets and value chains, combining established climate expertise with digital verification solutions. The organization aligns its work with international sustainability frameworks, including the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Gold Standard, and the Science Based Targets Initiative.

Founded in 2018 as an independent standalone organization by Gold Standard, SustainCERT co-founded the Value Change Initiative, a multi-stakeholder forum focused on defining best practices for Scope 3 emission reductions at scale. In February 2026, SustainCERT launched Digital Monitoring, Reporting and Verification as a service for renewable energy projects under the Verified Carbon Standard, following a pilot with multiple partners.
