Swift Energy is registered with the Ministry of Finance and Petronas Berhad to qualify the company as an approved vendor to participate in the upstream and downstream of Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects in Malaysia. Swift Energy also receives good support from MIDA for its export manufacturing activity. The main market segment of Swift Energy is the Oil and Gas and Edible Oils Industries, particularly offshore platform fabricator and onshore contractor in general. To date, over 50% of Swift’s home grown engineered solutions are exported and installed to over 40 countries worldwide. Armed with its acquired Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) in October 2006. The MSC has achieved a great deal in providing opportunities for technology companies and the company particularly pleased that the MDEC has recognized their commitment to contribute towards the technological advancement of the country. The Swift Group has now begun its outward push to become a dominant player in the Asia Pacific. With Malaysia as its hub of operations, the Group is building its overseas network. In early 2007, it established its first overseas office in Singapore. This marks the beginning of the Swift Group’s regional footprint. In 2009 it established its operations in Chongqing and 2011 in Guangzhou, China. In 2011, it established its Bangkok office in Thailand.
