With nearly 2500 members, swissICT is the largest professional association in the industry and the only association to link ICT providers, users and specialists in Switzerland. The association cares about the image of the Swiss ICT industry, advocates good framework conditions and promotes the exchange and specialist know-how of its members. Its core services have included the comprehensive study "Salaries in ICT" since 1981 and the publication of the standard publication "Professions in ICT" for 30 years. With the swissICT Symposium, the association has been organizing one of the lighthouse conferences of the Swiss digital industry for several decades. swissICT is the co-lender of the Digital Economy Award (formerly Swiss ICT Award), the most important award for innovative digital projects and organizations. The association supports the 3L Informatik certification initiative to ensure lifelong IT competence in the world of work.
