Synergy Natural Resources, LLC was formed in mid-2012 by co-founders Brian Cochrum and Drew Lofstad as a holdings company for a new multi-faceted venture into the bulk minerals market.

By taking advantage of an increased demand for dry bulk materials and the inefficiencies of the current supply chain used to deliver them, SNR focused its resources on developing a new, revolutionary technology known as the PASS Box (Portable Aggregate Supply System).  SNR has since been committed to enhancing the transportation and supply of bulk aggregate materials.

Their proprietary PASS Box technology (US Patent Serial No. 61/804,502) is designed to increase the effectiveness of the market’s current delivery methodologies by integration into an intermodal, universally transportable unit capable of keeping aggregate materials safe inside the same containment unit throughout the entire supply chain journey and, at the same time, removing the typical bottlenecks found in other delivery methods.

SNR offers the PASS Box to suppliers, freight forwarders, and end users through its wholly-owned leasing entity, Pass Box Global.
