System Optimization and Support is an engineering and consulting company based in Honolulu, HI, which brings more than 35 years of Information Technology experience to the table. Our primary focus is to ease the procurement, installation, and optimization of technology services for our customers, and to support them once the implementation process is complete. We consult on technology decisions ranging from the hardware procurement of Servers (Blades), Storage systems (SAN, NAS, and ISCSI), Virtualization Software (Microsoft-Hyper-V, VmWare, Citrix), Network Infrastructure (Cisco and HP Networking), Back-up (Data Domain and Avamar) to the implementation and integration of these technologies into new and existing infrastructures once purchased. Services provided center around the technologies above and to the support of these technologies after the initial implementation. Our current focus is on the commercial market where SOS has been a successful start-up since 10/2009. SOS’s customers are some of the largest corporations in Hawaii all whom are reference able and willing to provide glowing endorsements of its business practices As of June 1, 2011 SOS we have secured our first Federal contract for high level cleared work, and hopes to be able to establish some performance metrics to assist with attaining future larger contracts based on the its Native Hawaiian Owned classification SOS- Hawaii partners with a variety of software developers and hardware manufacturers, in order to sell these products and services in Hawaii and on the West Coast of the United States to commercial, state and local, and federal markets.
