Tacolicious is a San Francisco-based hospitality concept that operates California-Mexican dining spaces. It began as a market stand at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market in 2009 and has since expanded to four locations in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Los Angeles, along with Mosto, a tequila and mezcal bar. A counter-service version of the concept is planned to open in San Francisco's Noe Valley in fall 2023. The Tacolicious School Project, launched in 2012, has donated more than $1 million to nearby public schools. The company has pursued leadership changes and expansion initiatives, including naming a culinary director in 2017 and introducing Barklet Happy Hour in 2021. A 2015 legal matter related to employee compensation and wage statements is part of the company's history.
