Talyst, founded in 2002 and based in Kirkland, Washington, develops automated medication management solutions for health-care settings. Its flagship AutoPharm platform combines medication storage, inventory, ordering, barcoding, and integration with clinical systems to support acute care hospital pharmacies.

In 2009, Talyst expanded to long-term care, offering automated medication management, workflow enhancements, and patient safety improvements for long-term care facilities and correctional institutions. The long-term care division is supported by the Talyst Certified InSite Pharmacies Network, a group of independent LTC pharmacies that emphasize in-facility automation and related technologies. By 2017, Talyst had installed automated solutions in more than 500 facilities across acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, healthcare systems, and correctional institutions.
