Tamarack Camps is a non-profit organization based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, established by the Fresh Air Society to provide Jewish camping experiences for children and families regardless of financial means. Its flagship Camp Maas sits on 1,250 forested acres near Ortonville and serves campers from second through eleventh grades, combining outdoor adventure with Jewish culture and community. Older teens participate at the Charles N. Agree Outpost Camp and Camp Kennedy, where they engage with wilderness-focused programs for ninth through eleventh graders. In addition to youth programming, Tamarack Camps runs Imerman Teen Travel Trips for tenth and eleventh graders, offering co-ed journeys across the Western United States and Alaska to foster community and personal growth. The organization also operates family camps at the Butzel Conference Center and provides year-round outdoor education for corporate, school, youth, family, and religious groups, including the 2025 launch of the Tamarack Traits Program.
