Tarpley & Underwood was founded in 1978 as a two-person office in Decatur, Georgia. Harvey Tarpley and Jim Underwood began with a vision for a full-service CPA firm that would offer Georgia businesses the professionalism and resources of a national firm coupled with tailored personal service that only a local firm could deliver. Their philosophy was to focus on understanding the clients’ financial situation and goals; then to bridge the gap. Providing such personal service remains our paramount goal.
