TAURUS International has a real passion for preserving the Brussels architectural heritage, for making public places and locations attractive and for renovating residential or semi-professional landmark buildings into its original state. The roots of the company go back to 1998 when a unique duplex penthouse, located on a prestigious Brussels square, was acquired, renovated and redesigned. That meant the start of a specific corporate strategy: buying architecturally interesting but run-down buildings, located in excellent or upcoming neighbourhoods. These buildings were than given back their former 'glory' through intense renovating and interior designing. As we wanted to understand which neigbourhoods were excellent and upcoming, we became more and more informed on all the aspects of city planning, mobility and embellishment. This given, combined with our genuine interest for the development of Brussels as an attractive international cosmopolitan city, pushed us to start advising public authorities and (foreign) investors on city planning and urbanisation projects. TAURUS International is the real estate division of Brussels based Solbos Ventures.
