We practice Passive House design–the world’s leading voluntary building energy standard focusing on superior energy efficiency and quality of life at low operating cost. While originating in Germany, the founders of Passive House were deeply inspired by the energy conservation movement in the U.S. in the 1970s. We feel that the availability of Passive House in the U.S represents a perfect blend of the American spirit of invention combined with German engineering.
