Teaching Trust is an independent 501(c)3 organization founded with the clear purpose of developing leaders who can transform schools from the inside out, who are prepared to narrow the achievement gap and who ensure that all children experience an extraordinary education. We believe leadership must be distributed and become an integral part of a school’s culture. This belief inspired us to create three signature programs that work in concert with each other to ensure school leaders and leadership teams can drive dramatic improvements in student achievement. •Aspiring Ed Leaders Program – In partnership with Southern Methodist University’s Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education & Human Development, prepares future school leaders for the challenging work of leading effective teams to drive improvement in complex, urban schools. •Executive Ed for Teams – Prepares school leadership teams to build capacity in order to drive and sustain significant improvement in culture, instruction and academic performance in their schools. •Ed Fellows Program – Develops teacher leaders who are committed to improving instructional skills and influencing the implementation of practices that will improve student outcomes. Mission: Preparing educators to lead the change we need for the academic success and equity of all students. Vision: Teaching Trust envisions a community of leaders who have the capacity to transform schools in order to eliminate the achievement gap and ensure all children have an extraordinary education. Core Values: •Educational Equity: We prioritize work based on its impact in eliminating the achievement gap. •Disciplined Behavior: We are unapologetically results and competencies driven. •Courage and Resilience: We take risks, rebound and persevere. •Entrepreneurial Mindset: We own our outcomes and act with urgency. •Reflection and Growth: We seek feedback and modify behavior to achieve results.
