TEB is a Turkish bank founded in 1927 and based in Istanbul. It provides a wide array of financial services, including investment activities, leasing, factoring, insurance, and asset management, delivered through an extensive branch network. The bank serves individuals, businesses, and small-to-medium-sized enterprises, expanding from corporate and commercial banking into retail and SME segments. It operates in the Turkish banking sector and is regarded as one of the higher-rated banks within its group, with governance aligned to the Capital Markets Board’s Corporate Governance Principles. TEB is currently 55% owned by TEB Holding A.Ş., and in 2005 BNP Paribas entered into a partnership with the bank, bringing international expertise to the Turkish lender. Through this arrangement BNP Paribas gained holdings in several TEB subsidiaries, including TEB Yatırım, BNP Paribas Leasing, TEB Faktoring, TEB Portföy Yönetimi, and TEB Kosova, linking local operations with BNP Paribas' global network. This partnership aims to strengthen TEB's market position in Turkey while expanding access to BNP Paribas' international products and know-how. In September 2023, TEB renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Football Federation of Kosovo for a further three years.
