The Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center (MKOPSC) is the premier center for education, research, and service for process safety in the Oil and Gas and Chemical industries. Since its founding in 1995, the Center has made a tremendous impact on process safety. MKOPSC is especially proud of the relationship that has grown between industry Consortium members, students, and the Center.

Mission: Lead the integration of process safety – through education, research, and service – into learning and practice of all individuals and organizations.
