Tekna Seal LLC operates as a specialized manufacturer of hermetically sealed feedthroughs, focusing on glass-to-metal and ceramic-to-metal interfaces that maintain a moisture- and airtight barrier between environments. These hermetic feedthroughs enable the transfer of electrical or optical signals across sealed boundaries, supporting applications where environmental isolation is critical. The company serves customers in the Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing sector, offering solutions that address the need for reliable signal transmission through sealed enclosures. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tekna Seal is positioned as a niche supplier within its field, providing custom sealing and feedthroughs for high-performance, sealed environments. The business operates from a modestly sized organization, with a regional footprint that supports its specialized manufacturing capabilities. In October 2016, the company was reported to have been acquired by Winchester Electronics, a development noted in industry coverage.
