Teliqo operates in the telecommunications sector, offering a hosted telephony service that is highly adaptable and fully customizable. The service is developed in-house and delivered directly to customers, with the company acting as the sole provider rather than a reseller. Pricing is on a per-user, per-month basis, with no upfront capital expenditure and no additional connectivity charges or hardware or software costs.

Founded in 2010 by Simon Hochhauser, who previously led HomeChoice, a pioneering broadband, video-on-demand and interactive television service, Teliqo was created to provide a hosted telephony solution built on in-house technology. The platform was developed in collaboration with CTO Russell Lux. The company is based in London, England, and targets organizations seeking a direct, comprehensive telephony system with a single point of accountability for the service.
