Digital learning leadership Temple University College of Engineering recently appointed a vice provost for online and digital learning, signaling a strategic focus on expanding online programs and digital education initiatives. This presents an opportunity to offer scalable e-learning platforms, LMS enhancements, and remote collaboration tools tailored for engineering programs.

Online learning expansion The emphasis on online and digital learning suggests a potential need for robust virtual labs, simulation software, and proctoring services to support distance education and mixed-mode courses, aligning with the college's growth trajectory.

Cost management prompts Recent budget actions include headcount reductions to address deficits, indicating sensitivity to cost-efficiency. Solutions that reduce Total Cost of Ownership, improve operational efficiency, or consolidate software stacks could be appealing.

Research collaboration As an ABET-accredited, research-active college with faculty pursuing grants from NSF, NIH, and other sources, there is a clear opportunity to offer grant management software, research data analytics tools, and cybersecurity solutions for research labs and centers.

Regional partnerships A collaboration with Bucks County Community College to create an honors-to-honors pathway signals openness to partnerships and program articulation. This could open doors for joint program platforms, articulation interfaces, and credit-transfer technology partnerships.
