With his own family history of hair loss, Dr. Barusco decided to pursue advanced training in hair restoration techniques after finishing his training in general surgery. Since then, he has become a leading hair doctor by training with other top surgeons in the field of hair transplantation.

Known internationally for his natural artistic ability, experience and innovative nature, Dr. Barusco has been a driving force in the industry, with several publications and research projects. Today he is a much sought after teacher, mentor and medical writer with a busy calendar of lectures and live surgery demonstrations. He has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery since 2001, and currently serves as an examiner for the Board. 

During his tenure as one of the key hair transplant surgeons and educators at Medical Hair Restoration (MHR), Dr. Barusco was intensely involved in their accredited Post Graduate Fellowship program, which provides practical and theoretical training to most of the physicians at MHR. However, with the recent merger between MHR and Bosley, Dr. Barusco decided that it was time to leave and open his own office in the Central Florida area. His extensive experience has allowed him to surround himself with hand-picked professionals with years of experience in the business who share the same priorities with him: to provide excellent patient care and natural, undetectable results.
