The Tennessee Section PGA of America, formed in 1968, is a regional division within the Professional Golfers’ Association of America. It is one of the largest sections, with more than 500 members and associates, and is based in Franklin, Tennessee. The organization seeks to elevate standards in the professional golf vocation, promote interest in the game, protect and advance the mutual interests of its members, conduct tournaments, and provide educational opportunities to support members' employment and benefits. It also aims to foster good relations with clubs and communities within its Tennessee boundaries. Operating in the spectator sports sector and within professional golf, the Tennessee Section PGA serves professional golfers, affiliated members, golf clubs, and local communities in its region. Its role centers on supporting members through events, education, and collaboration with clubs, while acting as a regional partner within the broader PGA of America structure. A recent development is a planned partnership with Fairfield Glade Community Club for the 2026 season, reflecting ongoing regional collaborations to host events and strengthen ties in the area.
