Tennessee State Soccer Association is a mid-sized nonprofit that governs and coordinates soccer across Tennessee as a member of US Youth Soccer Association. It provides oversight and management for tens of thousands of youth and adult players, while the broader community of players, parents, coaches, referees, administrators, and volunteers numbers well over 100,000. The home office is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, about 20 minutes from downtown Nashville, and governance rests with a 13-member volunteer Board of Directors, supported by a professional staff handling executive leadership, administration, finance, coaching, sponsorship, and marketing. Its activities focus on delivering competitive opportunities and structure for players statewide, including events such as the Spring State Cup Championships at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex in Murfreesboro. The organization pursues partnerships to broaden participation and resources, exemplified by renewing its presenting sponsorship with Publix for the Tennessee State League and State Cup and by collaborating with futsal organizers to host invitational events in the region.
