Tennis Canada is a national, not-for-profit sport association headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, founded in 1890. Its mandate is to grow tennis across Canada and strengthen the country’s position as a leading tennis nation. The organization oversees premier professional events, including the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank, and maintains a calendar of ITF-sanctioned tournaments while reinvesting any surplus into tennis development. It runs junior national training centers in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary to develop players from youth through the professional level. Tennis Canada administers and selects teams for the Davis Cup, Fed Cup, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and national wheelchair, junior and senior squads; it is a member of the International Tennis Federation, the Canadian Olympic Committee, the Canadian Paralympic Committee and the International Wheelchair Tennis Association.
