Tentnology’s History IN THE BEGINNING... in 1972 young Engineers, Gery Warner along with his brother Kurt Warner started an industrial shelter business in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada). Gery moved to Vancouver, British Columbia and established Warner Shelter Corp. while Kurt located in Calgary, Alberta and set up Warner Shelter Systems Ltd. In 1990 the partners separated. The companies have been independent ever since. Tentnology®, formerly Warner Shelter Corp has continued to develop, and innovate new, and original patented fabric structures and event tents, and is a world leader in the portable shelter industry; renowned for unparalleled, high quality tent manufacture, fabric structure engineering and global distribution of tents for use in the world’s most premier and exclusive events. Our Location and Tent Manufacturing Home: Tentnology® Head Office is located outside Vancouver, BC on the west coast of Canada. Operating off a beautiful humble little rural tent farm...where we have been growing tent and fabric structure ideas and solutions for 18 years.
