In 2017 TerraCom acquired the Blair Athol Coal Mine, located in Clermont, Central Queensland, Australia. Since the acquisition TerraCom successfully restarted mining operations exporting up to 3Mtpa of high-quality thermal coal and are undertaking the progressive rehabilitation of the site as part of its ongoing mining operations.

In June 2020, TerraCom acquired 100% of Universal Coal Plc (Universal). Universal holds a portfolio of producing, development and exploration assets located across South Africa’s major coalfields.

TerraCom also holds several exploration projects across Queensland, Australia, and South Africa.
