In 2020 Terrafugia merged with AOSSCI to form Aerofugia Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd, and in 2021 the company launched the Commaris brand and its first product SEEKER, an electric fixed-wing/VTOL hybrid for autonomous commercial aerial applications, with reports indicating Massachusetts offices were closed and operations moved to China.
