The Texas Council on Family Violence is a midsized nonprofit based in Austin, Texas, and is one of the largest domestic violence coalitions in the United States. It supports service providers, facilitates strategic prevention efforts, and aims to create opportunities for freedom from family violence. As a membership organization, it brings together survivors, service providers, business professionals, communities of faith, and concerned individuals. The organization serves a broad network of service providers, survivors, and community stakeholders seeking safer relationships and improved access to safety and justice. In December 2020, UTMB's Center for Violence Prevention partnered with TCFV to launch a pilot program offering free virtual counseling for members of the domestic and sexual assault workforce.
