Texas EquuSearch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer search and recovery organization dedicated to locating missing persons and reuniting them with their families. Founded in 2000 by Tim Miller in memory of his daughter, Laura, our mission is to provide experienced, organized, and ethical volunteer search efforts utilizing the most suitable and up-to-date technologies and methodologies.

Headquartered near Houston, Texas, we have conducted thousands of searches across the U.S. and internationally, assisting law enforcement agencies and families at no cost. Our resources have evolved beyond the original horse-mounted searches to include ground searchers, side-scan sonar, ground-penetrating radar, boats, aircraft, drones, and ATVs.
