Like every credit union, we are a group of people - about 19,000 - who have pooled our savings so that we can help one another achieve our goals. We formed in 1953 when 7 civilian employees on Fort Hood, Texas came together to form this cooperative. At the time, we were Fort Hood Federal Credit Union. Over time, more groups were able to join the credit union including city workers and the name was changed to Hoodview Federal Credit Union. Once the charter was changed to enable anyone living, working, worshipping or going to school in Bell, Coryell, or Lampasas counties, the name was changed to Texas Partners Federal Credit Union. Members have access to a full array of financial services and products to serve their needs: savings acounts, term savings accounts (CDs), IRAs, checking accounts with debit cards, loans, reloadable prepaid debit cards, online banking including bill pay, mobile banking, and more.
