Since 1979, Textainer has established itself as a major global lessor of intermodal containers, managing a fleet of more than four million TEU across owned and managed assets. The company offers standard dry freight containers, specialized units, and refrigerated containers to about 200 customers, including leading shipping lines; it also leases tank containers through a relationship with Trifleet Leasing and serves as a long-time supplier to the U.S. military. Based in San Francisco, California, Textainer operates within the transportation, logistics, and storage sector, and is among the largest providers of intermodal container leasing and resale.
