Thayer Dental Laboratory, a full service dental laboratory, was established in 1976 and in 1983 it was recognized by INC. Magazine as part of the INC. 500. The laboratory has been Nationally Certified since 1985 with 8 Certified Dental Technicians and 1 Master Dental Technician on staff. 

The laboratory is outfitted with the most modern, state of the art CAD/CAM equipment. Every phase of operations, from human resources to technical procedures was researched and designed to optimize working conditions, maximize efficiency and assure the continued stringent quality standards that the dental profession has come to expect from our highly skilled personnel. The remainder of the facility incorporates many unique aspects that are not found in the average laboratory: 1) lecture room for AGD accredited clinical programs geared to the practitioner and the members of the dental health care team; 2 operatory for doctor prescribed shade taking and custom staining; 3) training room for continuing technician education. 

For nearly 40 years, Thayer Dental Laboratory has earned the reputation as the laboratory that leads the way with technological firsts in the Mid-Atlantic States. We are proud to be one of the 9 beta testing laboratories in the USA that have been involved in the development of Cadent’s digital impression system, iTero™. We continue to be a beta site for Atlantis® and Biomet 3i®. Thayer is a registered Sirona Connect laboratory,a Captek® Advanced Certified Laboratory, and is 3shape TRIOS® ready.
