The 3rd Choice creates a safe and anonymous internet environment for dialogue with people about spiritual topics.

People are certainly interested in spiritual matters; many would like a personal experience with God. The 3rd Choice's goal is to use the internet to reach out to the people who have walked away from the church, and to answer their questions, quench their fears, nurture them in the faith through Bible study, and bring them back to the church. The 3rd Choice also provides resources for Christians through Bible commentary and training workshops.

The 3rd Choice attempts this by engaging people in dialogue to usher them into the healing presence of Jesus.

The significance of "The 3rd Choice" is that atheists, unbelievers, and skeptics seem to think there are only two choices: I can be a Christian who is an idiot, or I can be a thinking atheist—as if those are the only two choices. But there is a 3rd Choice: A rational and reasonable faith that makes sense out of God, humanity, and the world, and recognizes the Bible as reliable and sensible. That's the 3rd Choice.
