We are an equipment provider specializing in Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, Seasonal Maintenance and Commercial Cleaning equipment. Akana means “Ally” in the Choctaw language and we at The Akana Group Inc. honor cultural values and the people we serve. We work diligently to be a strong ally, by getting the right equipment in the hands of good people, so they can do great things. TAG is one of the few Native owned businesses partnering with John Deer, BobCat, Polaris Company along with several other (OEM) original equipment manufacturers. All equipment we provide is fully warranted by (OEM) which allows for warranty & service work to be performed at any certified (OEM) repair station across the country. We can also provide full service and extended warranty options, and we accept trade in equipment. Many of our customers reside or operate in remote locations, however TAG is able to provide support to meet all delivery and service needs. We offer full-service packages that can be tailored to our customers' needs including on-site support. * Small Disadvantaged Business and Native American Credits: The Akana Group clients are able to claim Small Disadvantaged Business and Native American credits [13 CFR 124.109(a)(4)]. * 5% Department of Defense Indian Incentive Program: Prime contractors that contract with The Akana Group may be eligible for 5% of the amount paid to The Akana Group in carrying out the contract under the DOD Indian Incentive Program http://www.acq.osd.mil/osbp/sb/programs/iip/ * Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program: The Akana Group is qualified under Subpart 19.13—Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program
