The Arc of San Antonio is a nonprofit organization based in San Antonio, Texas, founded in 1954 by parents seeking to create a network of support for children with special needs. Its mission is to enhance the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization operates two locations in San Antonio and offers a broad continuum of services for individuals with a wide range of intellectual and developmental abilities. It serves more than 200 adults daily and, each year, connects over 1,800 children, adults, and families to a wide spectrum of community resources, information, referrals, and ongoing support during transitions or crises.

In the nonprofit and social services landscape, The Arc of San Antonio acts as a gateway to community services for people seeking help for the first time, providing information and referrals alongside ongoing support during transitions or crises. A recent development notes that the organization planned to attend its Derby De Mayo Gala in May 2026, where Capco General Contracting was slated to receive the Hartman Humanitarian Award.
