Discover The Biome, a unique and innovative K-4th-grade charter school which will be adding 5th grade next year, for the next generation - one that offers customized, project-based and student-centered learning opportunities with an emphasis on growth mindset and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education. The Biome charter school creates a balanced learning ecosystem in which teachers work together with students to cultivate a growth mindset as they discover their unique gifts, talents, and interests. 

The Biome offers a supportive, flexible and student-centered learning ecosystem driven by our students’ unique gifts, talents and interests. Utilizing our Schoolwide Enrichment Model, we help students identify and cultivate their strengths and areas of expertise.

Through our specially developed STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) curriculum and engaging, hands-on opportunities for students, we empower them to explore with confidence and apply their critical thinking skills and knowledge to the real world.

Our location provides exciting opportunities to extend our students’ cultural learning.  The Biome is just minutes from some of St. Louis’ top universities, cultural institutions and a rapidly developing innovation corridor, where a multitude of STEAM-focused businesses and organizations are thriving and growing.
