The Bridge Teen Center is a grassroots nonprofit based in Orland Park, Illinois, established in 2010. It operates a community center designed around teen interests, offering more than 350 free programs each year for students in grades 7 through 12 during after-school and unsupervised hours, with safety and holistic development as core aims. The center also provides ongoing resources to help parents navigate adolescence, and programs are delivered under the guidance of experienced professionals and trained, pre-screened volunteers. Since opening, it has engaged over 14,500 teens and families from 128 communities in the Chicago Southland and Northwest Indiana region. Funding comes entirely from community support—including thrift stores, foundations, businesses, and individual donors—and 92 cents of every donated dollar directly benefits students; in 2026 it was nominated for the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Award.
