The Broad is a Los Angeles-based museum focused on contemporary art from the 1950s to the present. It seeks to broaden access to its collection by presenting exhibitions and by operating a lending program that circulates works to art museums and galleries worldwide. The institution is building a dynamic collection with in-depth representations of influential contemporary artists and supports education and public engagement through diverse programming. In 2024, The Broad partnered with StandardVision to promote the Mickalene Thomas: All About Love exhibition on Circa DTLA, featuring what is described as the largest LED facade on the West Coast.
