The Catholic University of America - Tucson operates as a small higher education campus in Tucson, Arizona. It is affiliated with The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, which is a pontifical university chartered by Pope Leo XIII and the only one of its kind in the United States. In fall 2020, the campus launched a four-year business degree, developed in collaboration with two national education firms, a dozen local businesses, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson, and through a partnership with Pima Community College. The program is designed to provide a private Catholic education and to prepare students for a range of business careers.

The institution sits within the higher education sector and relies on its local partnerships alongside its historic affiliation. In 2025, reports indicate the university expanded its offerings with the launch of an MBA program.
